Johan Planefeldt is an award-winning Swedish cinematographer with a deep-rooted background in fine arts. His cinematic work is defined by a distinctive visual language that explores the intersections of tactility and embodiment mixed with Scandinavian aesthetics and a sensitive use of natural light. With a career spanning over two decades, Johan’s work as a Director of Photography has been recognized with multiple artist awards and screened at major festivals, including the Stockholm and Gothenburg International Film Festivals.

Having spent years directing and shooting his critically acclaimed short films and music videos, Johan possesses a unique "Director’s shorthand."
